Smash Remix V2.0.1 brings even more polish, balance updates, and content to the ultimate Nintendo 64 Smash Bros. experience! This incredible fan-made reproduction keeps expanding the classic gameplay of the original Super Smash Bros. while staying true to its fast-paced roots.
Version 2.0.1 introduces major stage reworks, improved CPU AI, new costumes, gameplay refinements, updated music, and the brand-new Tug of War mode. Characters like Wario, Peach, Mewtwo, Banjo & Kazooie, and Bowser received new costumes and animations, while many fighters were balanced with move tweaks and bug fixes. Several stages such as Temple, Frosty Village, Cool Cool Mountain, and Mad Monster Mansion were massively redesigned with updated visuals and improved layouts.
The update also adds new gameplay settings including BlastZone GFX, Japanese Stun/Sleep options, adjustable BGM & SFX volume, improved random character selection, and enhanced Training Mode features. CPU fighters now have smarter recovery options, better movement prediction, and more advanced combat behavior, making battles feel more competitive than ever.
